Hi,
Feeling my way round having bought an Outlander 8 weeks ago and following a lot of awesome advice on here - thanks for the awesome work!

I have installed a blue commando plug in my garage (on a 16amp circuit) and have a 16amp charging unit as well as the 10amp one that came with the vehicle (which now lives in the trunk/boot). Am I correct in assuming the vehicle can charge at more than the 10amp rate of the unit? I realise we can't take Chademo etc. ere in Australasia...

Thoughts?

European spec cars certainly can - and I would assume that others, at least for the 240v market, will have the same charger.

*UPDATE*
Friendly electrician fitted a 16amp "Blue Commando"socket in the garage.

I got my hands on a 15amp Nissan charger (not 16amp, my mistake there!).

Took the PHEV for a drive and ran down the battery. Plugged in, and 3hrs 30min was the indicated time for a full charge!
