Hi All,

I sometimes open or close the car with the black rubber button at the door handles at the driver's door or fromt passenger's door.

When trying the same at the trunk lid, I can use the small rubber button for closing the car, but not for opening it. Is this understood as a bug or a (strange) feature?

Best regards, Harald

PS:
Referring to a 2017 model.

I believe the small button is for locking only. Just press the tailgate open switch, it will unlock the car and open the tailgate.

That is correct the big black button is for opening and (if needed) unlocking, the small one for locking the car when all doors and the boot lid are closed.
If you press the big button twice in quick succession, the boot can be opened manually and you will avoid the beep. The same for closing manually.

Strange world: As soon as I press the buttons correctly, everything works...

Thanks to all, Harald
