Gday all,

Installed a towbar today on my 2017 phev, however for the life of me, I cant find where to connect a cable. The cable runs from the positive on the battery to the trailer ecu, however in the instructions it says the 4 pin connection is under the bonnet on the right hand side. Has anyone hooked up a cable there for their trailer?

Thanks

Had my towbar installed (MY2016) last weekend and the bonnet was not raised during the process all the connections were made in the boot area, with the majority of the plastics in there being removed, the towing loom was just plugged in to the car loom at that point (It definitely wasn't long enough to go forward to the bonnet area. Could it be a translation issue and mean the boot area right hand side?

Hi Fluxenator687

The trailer connector for the vehicle specific wiring kit is in the boot of the car (2013 - 2016 model) & not under the bonnet. I assume 2017 is the same...
Power will be taken directly from the battery terminal.
