Wipers not working on manual mode.

Hey guys!
I just encountered this peculiar problem.
Out of nowhere the wipers on the front windows stopped working when turning them on manually with the stick.
They seem to be doing OK when it starts raining.
HOWEVER the wipers on the rear window work just fine.
Any idea what may have caused it? Is there a button or a setting in the menu which turned off the manual setting of the wipers?

Hi,

It's possible to turn off the rain-sensor auto function (I have) but never the manual operation. Sounds like a problem with the switchgear in the stalk to me, assuming you're moving it up and down to operate, and probably needs checking over by an expert.
