I have a 2016 4h. It has a switch for the heated steeringwheel however this is in the wrong place. If you have a bottle of water in the cup holders you cannot get to the switch without first removing the bottle. What I would like to do is to relocate the switch to one of the blank locations to the right of the steeringwheel.
How easy is it to remove the switch and blanking plug without damaging them (this is a company car so I have to be careful)?
What connectors are used on the rear of the switch? If they are the normal blade type push-on receptacles then I have the crimping tool to make up a loom extension, however if it is a bespoke connector that would be more awkward as I would have to find a matching connector.
Thanks for any advice.
