Thanks for sharing, for posterity, it would be helpful if you could specify the part names and where would be a good place to buy them if possible? Been looking myself for a good place for OEM accessories.

I just ordered the outlander screen set for the front radiator protection from this site and will post the installed pictures upon installation.

Speaking of minor changes ... anyone figured out a radio control knob replacement? The tiny one is just to small for my ham-hands. Yes, I know I can use the control on the steering wheel, but when I'm a passenger ...

Here are the installed front metal screens for the radiator protection. They are tied by black plastic zip ties and if you don't mind the zip tie heads sticking out, it's okay. You can reverse the zip tie heads and put them inside but you have to take part of the front bumper's cover out and I am too lazy to do that.

I can't stand the cheap zip-ties so I replaced them with the painted metal drywall insert 3/16" x 2" and the black Philip screw heads look more professional now.

Where did you order the pedal set from?[/quote]

Pick the one without drilling. I had it for almost a year already...no problem.

Thanks for the link. The ones on there are only the pedals - where did you get that rest plate? I'm actually more concerned about getting that rest plate, as it is just carpet and the OEM rubber mats do not cover it so it gets dirty really quickly.

Thanks!

Here you go. There are different footrest to choose from. I picked the footrest with screws so it can be attached to the carpet base. The pedal set is without screws because I don't want to drill holes into the metal. They fit pretty tight with the rubber just like the OEM's rubber pedal.

Finally got the time to install the OEM led sill plates at the front. It's a pain in the a##. The manufacturer did not pre-wire the hardness for the lighted sill plates so I got to follow the instruction and tapped into the ECU & door switch. It took me 3 hours because lots of panels to remove under the dash. The dealer wants $275 in labor to install so I did it myself.

Looking good!

@yardbird88 did you get your spoiler off aliexpress as well? I was looking at them earlier but some people were complaining theirs got damaged during shipping.

How's the fit and finish of the one you got?

The rear spoiler I got was OEM from the dealer....$240. It involved drilling holes! into the new outlander so it is not going anywhere. The Chinese aftermarket spoiler although look bigger only use 3m adhesive...not sure I want that.

The led sill plates are OEM Mitsubishi parts made in China for the local Outlanders in China with the same part # as USA. I got it on sale from Taobao.com, a Chinese counterpart of Aliexpress for ONLY $58 plus about $12 shipping. It was a close-out sale. US dealer is asking for over $350 for the same stuff.

I recently was browsing on Amazon and happened across some silicone wedding bands. It turns out that a women's size 4 ring fits the radio knob quite well. Ring size 4 has an internal diameter of 14.8mm and the stock knob in my car has a 15mm diameter. Now it is much easier to grip and turn. The black colour is very unobtrusive, although they have lots of bright colours if that is your thing! FWIW, the ring pack was about $13Cdn.
