No details on price yet, or an official EPA range (but should be 22 miles on electric power).

Can't see any obvious differences to the European model - even still got the strange ghost ashtray holder in the rear wheel arch cover :?

That is a water bottle holder for the dog... :D

Some interesting points here. http://www.greencarreports.com/news...-delayed-for-u-s-againspecs-may-change-change

U.S.-spec PHEV could still get different battery pack

The pack will remain around the 12 kwh it’s currently rated, and it will still be supplied by LEJ, but Fedorak said that some details remain to be finalized.

That could mean changes to the battery’s cell chemistry or power characteristics, all aimed at drivability, and getting significant all-electric range in American driving conditions.

SO to create some envy for some... The US will get what may well be the "Pure EV" button desired by quite a few on here and other 'improvements'

Perhaps the US market are benefiting from the feedback the earlier models generated in places like this. It also makes me wonder if the rest of the world will see a MY17 upgrade too?? With improvements coming this fast someone in Mitsubishi is listening and working hard to 'get it right'.

At the risk of sounding cynical I thought the delay in the US launch was due to the US legislators demanding more pure EV out of the car before it could be sold there :?
