Every Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is equipped with three-point seat belts and head restraints, plus front seat belt pretensioners that are designed to help tighten the belts in certain frontal impacts so the seat belts can better do their job. Seat belt force limiters, which help the front seat belts and airbags work together optimally, are also standard on every Outlander.
