Does anyone know where I can buy a charging point socket?

Another question if you don't mind, can anyone confirm that I can connect the charging point to a UK 16A cooker connection socket. I don't use the cooker connection point in my kitchen and as it has a direct electrical connection to the fusebox with 30A fuse, I thought this would be better than the 13A sockets and supplied cable.

Of course you can connect a "16A" charger to a 16A power point - especially as it will never use the full 16A.
As for where, Google is your friend. There are a number of suppliers - even Amazon

For instance

If you put the charger outside I think it is likely to come under part P, so in practice you need to get it done professionally, if only for the certificate.
