The final homologation has not been finalized, but we have been getting some early indications of what the official Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV numbers will be:

CO2 emissions (combined): 44 g / km *
Fuel consumption (combined): 1.9 l / 100 km *
Range electric cars: 52 km *

Mitsubishi UK's Managing Director, Lance Bradley, indicated the European Commission consumption may come in as high as 147.9mp

"This car is hugely important for Mitsubishi Motors in the UK and we are confident that it will appeal to our existing customers and attract new ones. We are a niche manufacturer and cater for people who want something a little bit different. And of course, we specialise in four-wheel-drive with 70 per cent of the vehicles we sell being 4x4s. That is what we are famous for. This all-new Outlander is the first in a number of exciting new vehicles from Mitsubishi Motors this year and we are sure it will do well."

So, how do the CO2 numbers compare to other electric cars? I am not caught up in that area, so I am unsure. Are they better than most other brands?

From what I know it's a reasonable consumption for a PHEV of the Mitsubishi Outlander size. But it's of course not comparable to a EV car.
