Is there a way to have cabin heat without the gasoline engine turning on?

More and more often when I start my car after a full charge the ICE kicks in.

I have only 20 degrees set as inner temperature (my garage is 19 degrees usually). ECO mode is turned on and the heating function is set to disabled.
Even when the battery pack is fully charged, the Outlander's engine still starts up...

By changing the heating mode between 'auto' or 'off' or 'on', you can drive in EV mode without the ICE kicking in

Also, are you making sure to have the vehicle pre warmed while it is still plugged in before you begin your driving?

Try reading this, it seems to be the same thing you are talking about, no?
