It was nice while it lasted!
If, like me, you have been enjoying free parking in pay & display bays in Westminster (up to 4 hours) please note the changes from 10 April -

You now have to pay for 10 minutes to enjoy up to 4 hours so not too deadly but a bit of an admin pain nonetheless.
Given the sheer numbers of Leafs, PHEVs and Teslas in the West End, it was only a matter of time.
My wife received a "warning notice" (rather than a ticket) the other day so, to their credit, they are letting people know whilst the news gets out.

To be fair, I regularly stay longer than 4 hours and as they have no idea when I parked, the warden can't monitor it. It might have helped if the "warning" explained about the change - a bit underhand
