Hi,

Does anyone have a set of OEM mud flaps fitted to their PHEV here in the UK?

If so, would you mind taking some photo's for me and posting them here on this thread? I'm looking to buy a set ahead of my PHEV delivery in late September and have found a set of claimed 'OEM' one's listed on fleabay for just over £20. I want to be sure they are roughly the same before committing to buy.

Many thanks folks :D

You can see them on the UK Mitsubishi site - http://www.mitsubishi-cars.co.uk/outlander/accessories/items.aspx?type=73&group=48

Thank you my friend......they do look like the fleabay one's, so think at just over £20 for the full set they are worth the (minimal) risk

I just bumped a thread with the image of the car. It has both mudflaps and front bumper extensions. ( and sideskirts, sidebars and impact protectors on the doors)

I am under the impression that the lower body kit or the side bars are not available in the UK. I asked my dealer as I would definitely have the front, side and rear extenders.
I'm getting the protection pack with mud flaps instead, but also considering a trip to Holland to get the full extensions fitted.

Hi webb5

Just noticed your sig.....we too have an Ampera currently as a temporary lease car to get us to our phev....small world!

The side bars are third-party (CE certified, etc) fitted while you wait. The company is in Breda.

I've had the Ampera for 18 months and find it brilliant, wife misses SUV size and height, hence getting the PHEV.
Thanks Jaapv, doesn't that effect warranty and insurance?

No reason to. The change is not structural als it uses existent holes in the subframe and the insurance looks for CE certification, if they do so at all, at least, over here.
