Energy Flow screen flashes (or am I imagining it?)

Ever since using a Chademo charger I have had weird problems with my 2018 Outlander PHEV - i had warning messages pop up that I hadn't seen before about parking assist being blocked for example (though messages only showed once), and the red charging light constantly flashes all the time.

But one thing is baffling me - on the Energy Flow screen the arrows flash on and off constantly.

I am sure that never used to happen, that the energy flow arrows are in a smooth motion and never flash on and off.

I took it to the dealer - they tell me I am wrong and that it is working fine, i.e. it is supposed to flash on and off.
I'm not convinced.

Can someone tell me if the EnergyFlow on my car is working correctly or not?
I had the car 3 months and I do not recall that it flashed on and off before.

I can answer my own question

Just as the problems started after using a CHAdeMO, the problems ended after using a CHAdeMO.

The Energy Flow screen no longer flashes so (worryingly) my dealer doesn't know how the car should work.
I also had another issue where the red charger light would flash on and off constantly after using a CHAdeMO - and similarly after using CHAdeMO again at the weekend the problem is now gone.

(I have used CHAdeMO in between this time and it didn't stop the problem. Also the problem ended using a different CHAdeMO charger that I had never used before).

But now I worry about using CHAdeMO chargers ....
