why won't my Mishubishi charge cable fit public stations?

Not sure where you are but in the UK the supplied lead only fits a standard UK 3 pin socket, that's all its intended for. If you wish to use public charging stations you're going to need to buy a cable that specifically works for them.

Again in the UK, most public charging points already have the cable. Sounds like your not in the UK so if I were you I would take a picture of the sockets on the charging point and Google image search "Type 1", "type 2", "chademo" to work out which lead you need to buy . Hope that helps

Our local council used to have charging stations with 13 and 32 amp sockets. But the 13 amp ones were taken away on the diktat of Transport Scotland. :(
