My phev seems to be using up petrol without using the battery. It is not on charge or save mode so not sure why this is happening. It has just had a service so not sure if this has anything to do with it. Any advice? :D

When it is below 10 Degrees (more or less) the car will start up the engine for the first few km-s to heat the interior.
Search the forum for the many threads on the subject.

Or simply try what happens when you set the heater to the lowest possible setting or turn it off totally.

Other likely causes are:
- insufficiently charge (sorry for that)
- petrol is too old and you need to add 15 liters of fresh petrol first
- driving over (approx.) 70 MPH

Thank you for your replays. Much appreciated. A new car for me so a little out of my comfort zone. :)
Yes the car is fully charged but the other points being made I will look at. Cheers
