I made my PHEV + 1500 kg caravan available to the editors of a well known Dutch 'caravan towing' website. ... they ended up being very impressed :D
Did they publish a review somewhere? ;)
(I can read Dutch.)
Yep.https://www.caravantrekker.nl/trekautotest/mitsubishi.php.

I have tried to explain to them how everything works. Not everything has come across 1 - 1.

For those who are in Ontario and haven't got their Outlander yet - they just upped the rebate to $11K. I guess I missed out on 15 hundred bucks...

Lowered to 7k. I'm just thankful I ordered in time.

(Yeah, I'm the same guy that responded to you on RFD)

That's what I thought too. Now looking back it has been corrected to 35km (previously it was 52km which we all know is nigh impossible) and the rebates dropped from $9500 to $7000.

I'm now actually happy we picked up one in January before this went down.

Woops on their part. Now i'm feeling a little better about it. Although they do say that they will honour the previous rebate for cars that were already ordered prior to March 9th.

Ah, I presume they accidentally used the European numbers which are more...optimistic.

I'm happy to pick up late March so I don't have to bother with snow tires. Also the demand has subsided a bit, so a nice discount was able to be acquired dealer-side :D

Seems like I picked the perfect timing to order!

Just checking in. Received my Rally Red PHEV on Friday in Belleville. Had to get it home to Kingston. Loved the ride --- a lot to learn. Cord on the recharger could be longer in my opinion. Did plug it in to recharge after using all of my kms on the first drive. Then came the ice storm and it has sat idle in the driveway for two days. Hopefully will be able to dig out tomorrow and test it in a few more situations.

Did you hook up the phone remote control app yet? If you did this is a perfect time to give that defrost function a good workout. I only remember too vividly two winters ago when I was stuck outside in similar wet freezing rain conditions and cannot get into my car coming off the GO transit to the parking lot, relying on my own arms to shatter the ice before I could wedge the doors open and crank the engine for heat.
