Hello,

I got a PHEV of 2015 and I noticed the main bulb of the driver's brake light seemed dead. Since the other one is working fine, I'm guessing it is not a fuse problem. I read in the driver's manual that I should go to a garage for changing that particular bulb due to safety concerns related to the electrical system.

Is this brake light bulb to be changed only by a professional ? Or is it possible for me to change it ?

Do you know how much it would cost me to go to a garage ?

Thank you for your answer,

Best regards

It seems like they are LED brake light but they are so cheap to just swap the whole light assembly.

Hello,

In case anyone get in this situation, I was successfully able to change the assembly myself as yardbird88 suggested. Thank you for your advice, I think it was cheaper than to ask a professionnal to change the LED...
