I recently went through the wifi reset procedure, as I've just bought the car 2nd hand and wanted to clear all the previous attached smartphones. I followed the steps outlined in a post from a few years ago (power Acc; hazard lights; 5x lock/unlock, wait for beep; 10x lock/unlock; wait for beep; hazard lights off; power off) which has had the result that the wifi is no longer visible/detectable. Any ideas how I can initialise it?
