How about "deadlocking disables smart key" as a system option? That would prevent theft by relay attack as if the car is deadlocked (double-press of the lock button on the fob) it would not unlock or allow the start button to operate unless the car is unlocked with the unlock button on the fob...
I spotted that in mine the other day. Lid fallen off, cogs missing. The light works, but the lock doesn't. I'll pick up on it as a warranty issue when the car goes in for its fourth service in a few weeks' time.
I was about to edit my post as I thought of that just now whilst driving back from my girlfriend's place. Three tariffs (home location day, home location night, away-from-home) would be better than two. I don't know how the various charging stations work as I've only had the car 4 weeks.
Three things I'd like to see:-
On the MMCS, the ability to set dual tariff pricing on the EV charging cost calculator. Most of my charging is done on the Economy 7 night tariff, but if I'm doing multiple trips that day (today for example) I'll plug back in when at home and cancel the timer...
I set the timers on mine, but last week did the fob button combo to wipe the phones from the system as I had a second smartphone to add and the car still had the previous owner's registered. Happened to check the power meter that evening and the car was already charging, well before its 1am...
Given JLR's reliability, I wouldn't count on it. The Range Rover electrical troubleshooting manual alone runs to over 1,000 pages. Chatting to a colleague at Christmas he pointed out that during the 14 years I'd owned a Lexus GS300 he'd gone through three Discoveries, one of which ruined its own...
Another Wales one here, in the middle this time. Picked up my 4h at the end of January, I've noticed two more in town as well (one pre-facelift, one 2017). There's a non-PHEV doing the rounds too.
Would "better control of electric heater" come under the "charging" category? I'd like to see the electric pre-heater work without being hindered by the charging timer.
I spotted a few when digging out the numbers which were service only, Brayley being one of them (the postcode ending 4HS rang a bell :) ). Mitsubishi don't provide a website link for those so they're a little fiddlier to get the details of, but the IDs can still be pulled out of Mitsubishi's...
Driven by curiosity as to what the numbers on the dealer stamp in the service book meant, I've trawled Mitsubishi's dealer locator web page and pulled out the IDs relating to each. Apologies if this information is already out there, I couldn't find it.
This list doesn't include former dealers...
Is there a trick to doing this? I've got an Efergy meter monitoring the house power consumption and although it shows the draw jumping up when the timed charge starts and drops off when charged, when the heating timer starts it doesn't show up on the meter. This is with the 2kW charging cable...
It would be worth checking your service booklet. My initial post regarding the warranty was before I bought one, but since then I've become the proud owner of a September 2015 GX-4H.
Page 2-1 of my service book has been stickered-over, the revised page states that the traction battery is...
Have you tried deleting any previous smartphones from the system? I Googled it (as my phone is showing up as the second device and it only supports two) and there's a power-and-keyfob button sequence you can use to clear any previous devices from the car.
Also, try adding the wifi (my car came...
