    Winter Tyres?

Yeah, because it never goes below 7 degrees C in the South East of England. Rarely rains, never get any icy mornings either. Best not to bother with winter tyres. ;) Seriously though, as I have said earlier in this thread, if you know that in the lifetime you are keeping the car you will go...

    Winter Tyres on PHEV

Just about to put my winter set on for their third winter. I use Vredestein Wintrak 4 Xtremes in exactly the same size as the Toyos. I just go to my local tyre dealer and get them to swap them over onto the existing rims. This is the same I did (with the same tyre) on my Range Rovers before...

    Routeing cables above windscreen

I did the same for my Dashcam. May be worth noting, you really need a 3m long cable to run it the route described.

Indeed. Equally I have seen 408 miles predicted combined range...

New record of 36 miles range shown on the Guessometer

Interestingly, when I got in it again the next day after parking it showing 36, it was down to 33 (no changes at all, air con still off!) Guessometer is an understatement. I would much rather have a %age charge somewhere, the bar is not enough for me.

New record of 36 miles range shown on the Guessometer

Heh. I noticed it after I had put it in reverse, so quickly pulled out phone and took photo with foot on brake. I too noticed that later... ;-)

New record of 36 miles range shown on the Guessometer

44 Miles is very impressive - But isn't it pretty poor that they haven't allowed for the fact it was charging and subtracted it from consumption? Since if I am driving on Charge, surely the "EV" range would be the same as total petrol in theory... However, you are correct, as with an...

New record of 36 miles range shown on the Guessometer

My previous record was 31, but just now came out to it fully charged and showing 36 miles EV range! Interestingly, I was not driving like a hypermiler prior to this charge. I had been driving for 3 hours on the M4/M5, A38 and winding roads to get to deepest darkest Devon. Just for kicks...

    Cost of first year/20K inspection

Yup. Though intrigued to see what "extras" the garage may come up with at the first service that will be outside of this...

    Motorway charging

The Nissan sticker has no impact on how the charger operates is my understanding. It is part of the co-branding agreement, that is all. It is just a freak that it happened to be the one that had the sticker on in your case didn't work. If it's Ecotricity, then it will work with an Ecotricity...

    Another Climate Timer Settings question...

I found that defrost is more effective at both warming the car up and clearing the windows. The car just felt warmer when you go in after a defrost than a 'heat'.
