It seems to be that range estimates are getting more and more conservative - that way there's little to no chance a driver will be stranded with an empty battery pack at the fault of the vehicle. However, on a plug-in hybrid, it doesn't seem as necessary to have that safety zone.

That's disappointing that a brand new vehicle doesn't have bright enough lights. Are they really bad, or is it more because you have come from a vehicle with very bright headlights so that is what you are used to (like a BMW with HID lights or similar)

It can be muted as they said, so it takes a little bit to get used to it but it can be done. And then if you do need it it will work on its own.

Hi Outlander PHEV Forum administrators could you create a section for some regional or language specific discussions? Has anyone else though of this idea being a good one?

Lets hope that this is true for the Outlander because they are walking a thin line with these delays it could be too late when they come out especially if some other carmaker has a PHEV SUV to rival him, it could halve the Outlander PHEV sale numbers.

As someone previously stated if this dely is mostly about getting the kinks out of the armor, then it's definitely a worthwhile move.
