Gasoline is $3.50 US per US gallon. Electricity is $.10 per kwh. (Both true for me right now)
Under what conditions of load, speed, and distance does "Charge" result in $.10/kwh in the battery?

Phevy, Trex: I've had a lot of very slick roads to deal with this winter. I have been wondering about the allocation of Regen. With the S-AWC (which is overall excellent,) is Regen equal on all four wheels, all the time, or allocated depending on traction/slippage?

Theory and opinion mean less to me than real world results. I would be happy to join in on test trips, of equal distance and conditions as equal as possible, to record the mpg achieved in "Charge" vs other modes, and estimate the cost per kwh. There will be a fairly large uncertainty because...

I would like to see factual results of the mpg loss when road charging to see what it costs per kwh.
I bet it is over 12 cents. But I have not measured it myself.
I have made several 240 - 300 mile trips with a 2018. Outbound starting with a full charge I get about 35 mpg for that distance. If I can't charge before the return, I get about 30. About half of the miles are at 70 mph, half at 60, with a little stop and go in town.

You're upside down on a purchase for about that long anyway. EV tech is changing so fast right now that being able to just turn it in is attractive. At least that's my rationale!:-D
WHY is the front of the PHEV so damn complex? Unending Seams, Gaps, & Crevices.

What has been your driving experience since you installed the coils and spacers?
I just did my first trip over a lumpy mountain pass 2-lane highway (no extra load.) The PHEV was easily unsettled by bumps in corners, and it felt like mostly the rear that was flabby.
I would ask Santos, but can't find a contact. Can I use the Watchdog App on an unlocked Android phone with no cell service? (Right, forget altitude etc.) Phone as monitor only? Thx!
