    Headlight removal

Yep. First thing in the morning, brains aren't firing on all cylinders! Hopefully this will be a relatively easy job. I intend to jack up and put the car on axle stands, and remove the front wheels. Should improve access to the wheel arches so I can get the bumper off. Will report back on my...

    Headlight removal

Ta for all the replies! I was hoping it wasn’t a bumper off job, but I guess I’ll just have to do it. Richr - the year and model are in my signature - I should have thought to put it in again though. My bad! You’re a star for posting that link. I’d been hunting around for info and failing...

    Headlight removal

I need to change my headlight. Going down the motorway, something large hurtled towards my pride and joy, making one ‘ell of a bang as it hit the car. It felt like the windscreen was vibrating. No cracks or damage to the windscreen - my thoughts were it was a bird, and there was a slight smear...

Sat Nav. Is it just me?...

So, the sat nav. Possibly the most intimidating voice I’ve ever heard on a sat nav. Now, I love my PHEV, but if I could change one thing, it’d be that voice. That school headmistress, ordering me this way and that. It was a minor irritation for a while, until my hubby made an innocent remark...

UK Warranty Query - date it changed from 3 yr to 5 yr

Look in the front of your service book. Mine is March '15, and has a sticker that's been put over the top of the inside of the cover that shows it's a 5 year warranty. Mitsubishi changed it, but had loads of books already printed. They simply placed a sticker over the 3 year warranty information...

To consume old fuel, refuel 15L or more...

60l a year isn't going to affect your economy that much. Unless you're only driving 500 miles a year!

    Comparing a 2014/2015 UK GX3h vs GX4h vs GX4hs

Whereabouts are you? I found a local very small dealership who specialise in EV's (JSC of Windsor), especially the PHEV. They had the largest stock locally, at a reasonable price, and were great to deal with. People do travel quite a way to buy from them too. One tip - if you're looking on...

    Comparing a 2014/2015 UK GX3h vs GX4h vs GX4hs

I decided on a '15 4hs, which I've had just over 2 weeks. I do occasional long journeys (this weekend it was Basingstoke to York to Haydock Park, then the reverse on the way home), therefore adaptive cruise was on my 'must have' list, hence getting the 4hs. Found it was absolutely invaluable on...
