New front brake discs and pads

A late follow up to this thread. The work took only a couple of hours, and the Ferodo parts fitted perfectly. The brakes feel good, as does the fact that I spent under £100 to do it myself as opposed to well over £500 as quoted by the main dealer.

New front brake discs and pads

Once I had found more details of the model variant (GG2W) that narrowed it down just a bit, after which I chose Ferodo parts. I’ll comment again once they arrive and I do the work.

    Damaged pipes under chassis

Yes it certainly looks like coolant pipes, it appears that the same cooling system for the ICE is also used to cool the batteries. This is the circuit to the battery tray. The damage was yesterday, I drove home about 25 miles with no ill effects, and kept a close eye when I went to work today...

    Damaged pipes under chassis

Hi All, I use my PHEV on and off road, though the latter is pretty mild, mostly farm tracks etc. Yesterday I missed seeing a rock and I have managed to smack the pair of pipes that run under the car. The result is one is pretty well squashed flat at the point where it runs under a rail (the...
