    New owner impressions

Yep, the cubby shrunk... I also don't have any vibrations. When the engine kicks in on the highway, I often don't even notice it (and according to my wife I'm quite neurotic about noices and vibrations, so I would have noticed  )

    calling on 2019 owners

Very interesting article that fully answers my initial question with the following; "Unlike the parallel HEV that relies on the battery for only brief moments, the PHEV battery is in charge depletion mode, meaning that the battery must work harder than on an HEV. This adds to battery stress and...

    Rear motor mounts worn...

Motor mounts worn at 22k miles and then they call it wear and tear? Unless the car is heavily misused, this doesn't sound very reasonable (I would need to have them replaced twice a year in that case  ) Mind that also wear and tear items should last a reasonable time. E.g. tires are...

Battery degradation - real versus BMU-real?

I don't know about the battery degredation (as there seem to be well founded arguments on both sides of the spectrum). What I do know is that assuming an issue will always be addressed after 6 years on the market is optimistic at best. My previous car (2016 Skoda Superb tdi dsg) had dsg issues...

    calling on 2019 owners

Although I can follow why a smaller battery would decline faster, I wonder why HEV batteries (such as in the Prius) don't seem to have this problem. Is this because there are even larger buffers to start with, so detoriation and loss of range is minimized? Should that be the case, it seems to...

    Led light bar installation

What about the cooling capacity? I can't imagine the cooling opening under the number plate with the large radiator behind it is there just for the looks?

Battery degradation - real versus BMU-real?

Shouldn't the reported daily charge pattern be an indication for real SOH? My overnight charge is from depleted to full every day. I know the SOC when pluging in will differ every day, nevertheless the charge from depleted to full is always between 10.5 and 11.5 kWh. Long term the trendline...

Wobbly driver seat in MY2020 Outlander

Hmmm, promising.... :( I have electric seat adjustment. Would be interesting to know whether the seats with manual adjustment share this problem

Wobbly driver seat in MY2020 Outlander

I'm driving the Outlander for two months and 12 days now. In this time I drove it for 9.500 km and enjoyed most of the km's with a confident feeling I made the right choice buying this car. Past Monday I got a crack in this confidence as I felt my seat being wobbly when accelerating or braking...

Agreed! Which makes it harder to understand Just pull the Plus-paddle if you want less regen and a lower number in your display And if you want more regen and a higher number to go with it, of course you should use the Minus-paddle Don't care as I know now, but would have lost any bet guessing...

    2018 PHEV wheels for sale

For the 2019/2020 models the folder says the basic version (with 16"wheels) has smaller front brake discs than the other models (from the second in line and up 18"wheels and bigger brakes are fitted). Strange choice either way if you ask me. Mitsubishi either chose to care less about the safety...
