No, I don't even remember TV ads when making a major purchase, especially a car. However, research has shown a lot of Americans do make buying decisions based on ads on TV.

I understand you can charge the batteries through the fuel engine by running it stationary or during driving/breaking.
What I would like to know is how much fuel you have to use to charge the battery when not driving and how this compares (in costs) with charging electrically at home/work.
