Thank you iang56 for this useful and prompt reply.
Being a bit of a novice regarding doing this kind of thing can I ask about the circular clips and how to remove them. I’ve had a look at mine and there is no obvious way of doing this. And do they reassemble easily?
Thanking you in advance…..
I realise this thread is a bit old but I have similar problem with the chrome trim on my 2016 outlander PHEV.. in my case it is the lower of the 3 chrome trim segments which an earlier answer by DibbyDibbyDJ indicated to be clipped in position as opposed to needing access to retaining screws...
On my UK 2016 PHEV 5H - after 3 months I get the "Consuming Old Fuel" message. I need to add 15 litres (NOT 20l every 6 months as detailed by others) to cause a reset, you could disconnect the Aux battery, BUT there is an easier way which was detailed somewhere else on this forum and which i...

Does anyone know if having the bonnet open causes a drain on the aux battery? It...

Can anyone...

This happened to me yesterday at a local Pod Point charger which uses the Pod Point application (no RFID card needed). After struggling to...
I think jaapv is correct.
With documantation for my car I also got a small "Operation Guide" booklet. In here on page 8 under Charging it says "Avoid 'top-up' charging when the drive battery is already close to fully charged - repeatedly doing so can reduce the efficiency of the battery"
Re point 6 from Solar Boy - Pedestrian Warning sounder.
Read in paper yesterday that as from next month EU Reulation No 540/2014 will come into effect. It requires electric and hybrid cars to make more noise, so they sound similar to those with ICE. Assume it will then become a legal...
