In Car Access to MyQ Garage Door Openner

So I totally gave up on the Mitsubishi connect app to communicate with the MyQ app. This is an example of the most botched use of software in the history of connected driving. I paid $30 for the ability to connect with the MyQ app and it completely failed three weeks ago. I went back to putting...

Level 2 charger at home, anybody? What are your thought?

We also have the ChargePoint+ Level 2 charger charging our 2023 with the 20kW hour battery. Like others have said, full charge in less than about 6 hours. Love it and have not looked back. For our use, the Level 1 that came with the vehicle was way to slow.

And there is the more complete answer.

    2023 PHEV Outlander

There should be lots are articles as to why higher octane does not lead to higher performance. A quick google search should yield all you would ever want to know about performance as it relates to gasoline octane rating. That said, an over simplified answer to the question is as follows. It is...

    Very sharp looking Outlander.

In Car Access to MyQ Garage Door Openner

Agree. Totally stupid that this car lacks this common feature. I don’t like having my remote garage door opener in the car. A smash and grab gives a bad guy access to my garage and potentially the house depending on the time of day. So my start routine is, close the Mitsu connected drive app...

    Portable level 2 charger

It is neither Bluetooth or WiFi. The system predates all of that. It is some radio frequency that is allocated for the purpose.

    Portable level 2 charger

Homelink is a system that allows you to program one of three buttons, usually part of the rear view mirror, to open a garage door, security gates or anything like that. It has been a feature of just about all cars sold in the States for the last 30 years. Sadly, Mitsubishi has opted out of this.

    Portable level 2 charger

I look forward to watching. So does the Outlander use the Homelink system Down Under? That system is gone from the ‘23 in the states, sadly.

    Portable level 2 charger

Glad that my info helped and I will watch that YouTube vid. These forums are really great. There is lots to learn about these cars. I did a ton of research before I bought and am still learning. There is also very limited availability PHEV down where I livel so I did not have a lot of...

    Portable level 2 charger

I think you are wrong but not in a way that will make you feel better. The 2023 has a 3.7kW inverter. I installed a level 2 EVSE that will draw up to 40 amps but with the inverter maxed out at 3.7kW it will never draw more than about 15 amps. In fact the ChargePoint that I bought monitors the...

23 Outlander Mitsubishi MMC App/Carplay Issue

Indeed the $30 fee for this poorly functioning system adds insult to injury. Why not design in the Homelink system that is standard issue on just about every Carr for the last 30 years. I wish Mitsubishi would fix their interface with the iPhone and the app.

In Car Access to MyQ Garage Door Openner

In my opinion this is one of the glaring mistakes Mitsubishi made. The Homelink system should have been designed in and not the Mitsubishi connect method of opening and closing the garage door. I have an iPhone 13 and a 2023 Outlander PHEV. I have had the MyQ app on my phone for years. I...
