Looking to lease on salary sacrifice...

forgive my ignorance of such matters, but does that mean on a 300 per month lease , by buying it pretax via a company salary sacrifice scheme, it works out only 31 pound a month less off your monthly salary? or is that 31 in addition to the 300 for the lease? I know my company does have a...

    skid plates

I noticed in another post , I think it was jaapv posted saying he had fitted skid plates off the previous years outlander. If that's so, may I ask if you'd be able to post a close up picture of how they look please? I'd love to see that, front and rear if possible?

thanks for the advice nernm. Regardless of the vehicle and what I end up doing, its nice to see so many people willing to help you inform your choices.

    Test drive today

thanks for the figures. Not what I was hoping to hear, but I think it rules this vehicle out for me, and I'm glad to know now. The range is already pretty low, and the compromises with heating are not something I'd want to pay that much money for a vehicle for and stomach. Its too cold here for...

    Test drive today

thanks for the reply - I think I've already ruled out a Gx3 for that reason. Do you know how much the electric heater hits the battery range then?

PHEV - would it work for me?

My current car is a diesel. I do mostly local miles these days, probably around 30 miles, at between 35 and 40 mpg because its a big heavy auto. On the occasionally longer trips for days out I get about 50 -55 mpg average. I think the local miles I do would exceed the range of the battery...

They've changed the wording of the advert...

what sort of range do you see, and what sort of range do you actually get then?

    Test drive today

I had a test drive at the weekend of a Gx4h. Very nice car indeed, really couldn't fault it in the short time i drove it. My impression of the suspension was it seemed a nice compromise - not too hard but didn't wallow in the corners or anything either - can any owners comment if that seems a...

    leasing options

these guys offer personal leases??? I hadn't found places that did that before cost effectively to be honest, I thought it was limited to businesses or extortionate for the most part. Interesting..... thank you!

    leasing options

hi, first post and a question that I was hoping someone who knows more about lease deals. Based on a fantastic test drive today, I'm already convinced I want to get an outlander, but I'm wondering if I can get one more cost effectively via a lease, as outright ownership doesn't concern me as an...
