Yes I love my PHEV too but the one thing I would change would be the whole sat nav. I think it's basically useless! Yes, it will get you to your destination but have you ever really examined how it's doing so? Some of the routing leaves a lot to be desired and I think my 7 year old grandsons...
Ouch! That's steep!
What happened to your key?
My 4 year old grandson threw his dad's keys in the river and they never found them... good job they were only a couple of miles from home and had a spare.
Never noticed if I have the same problem as I never bother checking what the car thinks in the way of 'range'. That would be the same as asking the wife to read a map or program the gps! Besides, with such a short EV range does it really matter? Unless of course you're out of petrol...
Thanks for your reply. I have tried various combinations in the Route Options but to no avail. The routes are IMHO ridiculous most of the time. The thing is you probably wouldn't notice if you are on a route you are not familiar with and some might say that if you're familiar with a route then...
Thank you both for you reply. Yes the map is out of date according to Mitsubishi, even though the car was first registered May 2017 it came with a 2016 dated map. However, the problem is not with the map it's the route calculations. Try using it even for a local journey and one you know well...
Hi All,
Does anyone else find the sat nav in this car basically useless? I have tried various options during the past few months but to no avail. The navigation algorithm is IMHO laughable and we always end up having to use Google maps on our phone to obtain a sensible route. I have now...
Just thought I would update this thread in case any other poor soul has spent too much time trying to get your Android Auto App to connect to your Multi Media Communication Screen. Don't bother trying! It doesn't work! Finally I received a response from Mitsubishi. Despite what 'I think' I've...
Welcome. I'm also a new PHEV owner. Bought my 17 plate ex demo with 3,000 miles on the clock last month and like you am very, very pleased. My only gripe though is the sat nav which I think is dreadful. The route algorithms are atrocious imho and I've tried all different combinations of Fast...
Hi Peter
I'm not sure. All I know is I have a Sat Nav and my manual tells me I can use Android Auto, simply by connecting it via USB. My car was first registered in May 2017.
Can't actually see that setting in the app but there are obviously no cars showing in the app. The option to start setup when connected to a car system is selected but of course that doesn't kick in because a connection is never made. I think I'll forget using the link display, I originally...
Hi Kev,
Thank you for your reply. Yes I have Android Auto installed on my phone and the phone connects to my PC no problem as I always use a direct connection for transferring photos and music. I have a Samsung Galaxy 6, running Android version 6 OS which, apparently, is compatible with the...
