    Outlander PHEV brake caliper upgrade.

If you can activate ABS or lock up your front tyres with your existing calipers/brakes I don't think there will be a huge improvement with bigger or better discs/brakes unless you are driving hard as @kpetrov said. Note also this is a near 2 tonne vehicle with soft suspension, unlike a lighter...

    Clutch

I don't know anything about consumer laws in Denmark but in the UK I would ask the garage to write a statement that states the failed item and the cause of its failure. Then include this in a written communication to the head of Mitsubishi in Denmark and state that: The part that failed is a...

You can get your PHEV to do in excess of 500 mpg, if you drive carefully, and frugally.....

I will now stop following this thread. No need for aggressive and assertive behaviour

    Charging at public stations issue

I agree it sounds like BS. Since only Nissans and Mitsubishis are about the only cars that use the older Chademo system I doubt they would change protocol. When I used Chademo in the past when free or very cheap (such as at IKEA and some tourist spots) I did get occasional issues. I found that...

    2023 PHEV Outlander

I agree with 'dgarth'. It is now the same in the UK in that if you want to have low ethanol the choice defaults to premium fuels which are also high octane. The last commonly available petrol with zero ethanol was Esso Supreme which is Octane 99 but even that changed last year to have 5%...

    Interior rear boot light assembly

I had the same thing happen with the one above rear seats. The dealer fixed it when it was in for a service at no cost. The guy at the desk said they didn't take down the roof lining and he thought they put the metal clips in position and held in place with cord around the legs that they pulled...

Was ICE cold weather start formula reprogrammed?

This works for me on a 2016 HS model (will not work if lower spec as no electric heater). 1. Ensure you switch off heater fan before switching off car 2. Presumably next morning, press start button without pressing brake pedal so enters accessories mode 3. Press start again WITHOUT BRAKE and...

Key fob button to turn off charging timers does not work

Thanks for writing down the sequence. Useful for future enquirers (and me when I forget it!)

Key fob button to turn off charging timers does not work

This almost matches my recollection. Also, I can't remember if I had to wait 10-20 seconds after point 1 for this method to work, or if I hade to do it within 10-20 seconds. The locking sequence seemed to matter too (I think it had to be left unlocked between 1 and 2) but again, can't remember...

14 mile range for 2018 Outlander PHEV, normal?

You could try a couple of things. Best is to get an OBD reader (I use a VGate wifi from Amazon for about £25) as suggested at the start of this thread and get free PHEV Watchdog app. That will tell you what your battery capacity is and if it is much less than 70% (say 60-65%) and you have done...

    Extension cable required

UK plugs will definitely get hot to the touch when running at a constant 10A or 2.3kW. Not many appliances will run for hours at this power, even electric heaters (most are 2kW with some at 2.5kW and very few at 3kW) are usually set to a comfortable room temperature and will cycle on and off...

2.0L vs 2.4L Electric range and journey cost

Quite incredible in that I would write exactly the same comments for my 2016 4HS (except 68k miles). The later model I had as a service loan car has heated screen on some models which would save having the engine switch on immediately with the heating on a frosty morning.
