    Collision Repair Costs

A medium size dog weighs about 50 pounds. Think of fifteen of them!

Any queries or suggestions of Mitsubishi Japan's engineers?

If you hadn't written this I would have done. Agree completely.

    Socket or tethered charger?

If you're in the UK, especially England, then as long as you live or work pretty near to a public charge point, it can be very economical. I drive less than once every two days, but still charge up around a dozen times a month at free charging points, working out at an average cost of £0.65 for...

Best EV Estimate and what was you doing to get it ..?

Even slight slopes make a considerable difference. I always charge up to full unless there are exceptional circumstances. From a home or near-home charge to the next town, which is 14 miles away, I usually will only use about 40% of the charge in the battery, but even then I won't get back...

Very good! Did you charge up at the top?

Best EV Estimate and what was you doing to get it ..?

Just revisiting this thread to report that I got my first ever real 32 miles range performances over an average of level ground last summer - when the temperatures in England were up towards 30 degrees and there was no wind. It seems a far cry from that now in January - lucky to get 25 miles...

    Chargemaster/PolarPlus 3-pin public charging points

A puzzle. I do most of my charging a mile from home in what turns out to be the first EV charging point in Shropshire. That one uses a Type 2 plug. I quite often have to go to Shrewsbury, where I can charge up at ASDA. ASDA has four parking spaces for two charging points, both of which have...

    Tire pressure

So it's going to cost £120 when four batteries go! Hmmph! I've found it useful to have this facility when the tyres lose pressure in a cold winter: I reckon they had dropped by about 5 psi.

Best EV Estimate and what was you doing to get it ..?

36 miles is my best EV estimate. which usually drops to about 8 or 9 after the 14 mile drive home after (occasional) work, as there's a gradual climb of about 400 feet.. My best EV range has been 30 so far - on a few of those nice warm summer days. If I'm working on a day like that, I can get...

    Bland woman

I only ask the co-driver to do that in extremis for that very reason. Instead, if I'm planning a route I write out a list of instructions so that I get the info I want. I'd rather hear my good wife's voice giving me those than Blandie!

I much prefer using a map to plan the journey and then checking traffic updates on the radio rather than using a satnav.

    Electric Tailgate not working?

I've not managed to open my tailgate from the fob yet, so I'll try this tomorrow.

    very short journeys

You'll even have room for a few large sacks of dog food if you push the rear seats down!

    charging cable

I bought my Type 2 cable from EV connectors and have had no problem with it - have you contacted them?

On verge of buying, but have reservations!!

Best of luck, and keep us posted on here with how you get on with your new beauty!

So, 1500 km per month, or 18000 km per year. 52 Thursdays and 52 Sundays in most years - and roughly 170 km on each of those days. Always the same journey?

    Future Outlander PHEV owner

I would think it safe to assume that a dead level route will always give better fuel economy than an up-and-downer that starts and ends at the same altitude.
