    PHEV dog cage recommendations?

I take it you are UK based? I have a Collpress dog cage in my PHEV, made by Bob Collins. He's North West based so depending on where you are, a visit to him and he'll measure up and make one to fit. They are around £400 though. Usually his lead times are around a week. They are made of plastic...

Car Docks today...when realistically do u think I'll get it?

I would allow 3 weeks for delivery after ship docking, anything earlier would be a bonus.

    Discounts available?

I ordered mine in June and I'm picking it up on Monday :) When I was negotiating with dealers there was a massive difference in what they would offer, 60% of them were full list price and no discount. Its a case of doing the leg work and hopefully be rewarded. Mine is a rare private purchase...

    Delivery date moved forward!

Mine arrived on the Lyra leader which docked on the 13th July. Still no sign of it at the dealer, I think I'll be leaving it the till the September reg change when it does turn up.

    Colour

I would say its frost white, the pearl White is a bit creamier in colour.

    SatNav - Dynamic Route Guidance

I can't say for certain as I'm still waiting for delivery. What I can say is I have a 2008 shogun and the sat nav in that auto re routes without a problem, I'm sure a newer by 6 years model must be the same or better.

What colour is your PHEV? - YOU CAN NOW REGISTER YOUR VOTES

As per all car dealers it's pretty impossible to say! Most dealers are now taking orders for October delivery for the GX4h (the most popular variant). However some have already sold that allocation and December is a more realistic date from them. Other dealers have ordered stock without sales so...

How many miles (or km) have you managed on one tank?

Not too bad maddogsetc, slightly better than the Disco I imagine. Have you let your local petrol station know you're not dead? They'll be worrying about you! :D

Front fog lamps/ daytime running lamp

Just rung the supplying dealer for my car and negotiated a price of £200 fully fitted for the LED running lights. I object to paying it, because I believe they should be standard fit, but I'm happy with the price in the circumstances.

Front fog lamps/ daytime running lamp

Given the price of the aftermarket ones, it seems the Mitsy ones are quite good value! I just think it's penny pinching not putting them on as original spec  Guess my dealer will be getting a call to negotiate a price!

Front fog lamps/ daytime running lamp

Having had a mooch around, found this interesting video. It's in Dutch but you can get the gist of it. http://youtu.be/TsXHUNTuDpI Not sure how much they are though, it may be cheaper to order the Mitsy ones.

Front fog lamps/ daytime running lamp

As far as I'm aware and can check all models come with DRL's which are normal bulbs NOT LED's. There is an option to upgrade to LED's but not standard on uk cars.

Frost white for me, not seen one in the flesh yet but maddogs pictures make it look very smart.

    Mpg and side steps question

The figures are EU approved testing, they are the same standard across the industry. To be fair to mitsubishi they have said they don't think the 148mpg is a realistic figure.

    Random Bong?

Not got my PHEV yet so can't help too much, I found the woman on the sat nav scary in my shogun, there is a male voice which is much better ;)

    Lobbying re public charge points

Most best western hotels in the uk have electric charge points which are free to use, they have been provided by zero carbon world who will provide free chargers for business, subject to certain criteria.

    Before the PHEV...

My PHEV is replacing my 2008 3.2 auto LWB Shogun, currently averaging around 20mpg :o I'm hoping that the fuel economy is slightly better. This will be my 3rd mitsubishi, covering over 200,000 miles in total and touch wood, I've never had any problems at all. They are not as bling as BMW/Audi...

    It's here

Even the brand new Range Rover only has a wading depth of 900mm, i believe the disco 4 is 700mm. Obviously extras like a snorkel etc can be fitted but to wade through a metre of water in any 4x4 is unadvisable in my view.

    New Car Factors

I've done similar calculations and reached this conclusion. I currently run a 6 year old shogun which I get 20mpg, mostly on short journeys which should be covered by the ev part of the car. My current diesel and road tax spend is around £440 per month In the last 12 months I have spent...

    Discount

Try carwow. I've had a look to see if I could beat my deal and got offered a £2000 discount off a gx4. Not as good as what I got but a good deal in the sellers market.
