My current unit rate is 14.77p per kWh I've been on a fixed tariff with Scottish power for nearly a year , I'm nearly out of the fixed tariff and will let it move onto variable tariff which is double what I'm paying now 🙁

Will soon be cheaper to run my phev on petrol

That's why I said it will soon be cheaper to run on petrol . What I'm saying is when the new electric rates come in April my rate is almost doubling . It's going up to the capped rate of £0.2834 per kWh. So it will be cheaper to run the car using petrol (depending on petrol costs too )

Will soon be cheaper to run my phev on petrol

The 17kwh i put is actually £. Sorry for confusion . I set my rate on my car at 0.17p. So £1.10 approx per charge . Car seat at 0.17p means I'm putting in 6.47.

Will soon be cheaper to run my phev on petrol

The charge cost is what is based on my utility reading and also the same reading given by the car itself . Set currently to 17kwh which matches my unit price . We do charge overnight but unfortunately don't have an EV tariff or economy 7.

Exhaust for a 2014 phev old style

The guy delivering the exhaust has offered to fit it. He wouldnt give a price as he wants to see how easy the old one comes off first . What should I expect to pay to remove and fit a new one roughly just so I know I'm not being ripped off. Thanks

    Best way of testing battery

Thanks I set the cost to 0.10pence per kWh and my car on the last full charge said it cost 74pence to charge from empty so I'm assuming it's taken 7.4kWh to charge would this be correct? Everything I've read so far is saying it should take 9kWh if the battery is OK.

    Best way of testing battery

Sorry I'm not sure where I can find what kwh it is taking. My car just tells me the charge cost , I've read that putting your price per kwh to 1 will give me an indication on battery and a normal battery will display a cost of about 90 to £1. Mine was lower which to me indicated a poor battery...
