This morning I drove 40 miles on the icy roads on D5 and 4WD lock. It was perfectly ok. Maximum speed 50 mph. The battery was full and lasted for 15 miles. The heater was blowing 25C all the time with the seat heating on - average consumption 5.5 L/100km (51.36 miles per gallon)! EV 51%!

I have tried again to connect my Samsung galaxy 7 following the procedures suggested above to the letter. It didn't work. Preheating my car remotely was one of the main reasons to get the Juro. I wonder if I change my android will it work with the new phone?

Thanks for the comments,guys. I was most probably wrong to expect the Outlander to heat up the cabin like my previous diesel car. For 10 min, blowing on full power from cold, it would make the the cabin like a turkish bath.
