Charge light blinking - EVSE says "Waiting for Vehicle"

Nope. I battled with this issue for 3 years and never figured it out. I traded in the Outlander for a Mustang Mach-E earlier this year, and that charges at the same station perfectly every time. My wife also got a RAV4 Prime, which also works every time.

    Predicted charging time display

It will turn to dashes when it gets to under an hour remaining.

Your own post that you linked to, right at the top says “Note: this does not apply to USA, CAN, and AUS”.

2016 Outlander keyfob hack. REMOTE HEATER!

If you have a 2019, it's not going to work.

    Bluetooth calling - which speaker?

Yes, the fix is available and works. Your dealer should be able to look it up by VIN.

2016 Outlander keyfob hack. REMOTE HEATER!

Nope. It doesn’t work on a 2018 either.

US Federal and State tax and other rebates, benefits.

Yeah, you don't have to worry about Mitsubishi hitting the 200k limit any time soon. However, there is currently a bill in Congress that could potentially eliminate all EV credits. That's anyone's guess, but the fact that Democrats now control the House make it much less likely to pass.

    US Outlander PHEV Owner Check-In

I like it. If you can keep your driving to around 25 miles between charges, it's fantastic. If you drive a lot more than that, you may not be happy with the efficiency. The most annoying thing about the vehicle is the creaky driver's seat, which Mitsubishi USA seems to think isn't a problem.

USA MY2019 powertrain updates, or poor communication?

The USA will not get the bulk of the updates for 2019. This is just dealers not knowing what they're talking about, which is not uncommon in my experience. You'd think they would really do their homework and become fanatical about the products that they sell, but that is very rarely the case...

2019 Upgraded Outlander PHEV in US too?

My guess is that that dealer will have a lot of disappointment customers that based decisions on that information.

2019 Upgraded Outlander PHEV in US too?

Canadian dealers have been informed that the mechanical upgrades will NOT make it to Canada for 2019. I'm pretty sure that means the same will be true for the USA.

    WiFi Range Extender

Yes, the phone will need some kind of data plan. T-Mobile used to give 200MB of data a month for free. Not sure if that’s still offered.

    US Eco Info Screen?

Interesting. I guess those screens disappeared with the MMCS system then. The Smartphone Link Display Audio system that replaced it doesn't have as much info on the Eco and Energy Monitor screens.

    US Eco Info Screen?

Yes, those screens do not exist in the North American version. As far as I can tell there is no screen anywhere that tells you how much power the HVAC system is using, which really is a bummer.

    Very cool!

    SiriusXM

It may be part of the package, but if the Outlander doesn't support it, it doesn't really matter. I had Travel Link in my Cherokee and still have it in my wife's Pacifica, and find it pretty useless.
