Very loud beeping with no warning lights

My best guess is that you have something on one of the empty seats so it thinks there's someone sitting there without a seat belt on. Try fastening all the seatbelts. If the noise goes away then you know you're in the right ball park. Then you can narrow it down to one seat and check the...

    MG battery factory

I took my Outlander PHEV for service at my local Mitsi dealer who also happens to be an MG dealer. I like the MG SZ full electric. It's got a bigger boot than the Niro or Kona. ##The salesman told me that MG are about to start making their own batteries in a new purpose built factory...

    Battery degradation petition

http://chng.it/yGWPDc67c8 Mods I hope putting this on here is ok? It's a petition that has been set up to get Mitsubishi in Japan to acknowledge the battery degradation issue that is suspected to be caused by faulty firmware in the BMU. Full details are on the link. It only takes a few seconds...

B0. Sometimes our gauges are not quite right IMO.

I also find B5 a non brainer in towns and cities, at roadworks or any other stop start traffic, but on my commute to work (4 miles all downhill) I just cruise in B0 and use the paddles for any braking required. I usually gain about 3 miles of range like this and its so easy to drive-practically...

    All season tyres

It looks like I will need to replace my front tyres soon and I'm pretty much sold on the all season tyre philosophy but which brand are the most economical? I find that the ratings quoted differ on different websites.

    I just wanted to say...

I have the timer set for 2 hrs charge every day so that its ready just before i need the car with the pre heater programmed to come on 10 mins before I leave for work. Happy days! On my days off I usually give it a full charge unless I know I won't be doing much. It's just a shame I can't get...

    I just wanted to say...

I've had my 2014 PHEV which now has 66000 miles on the clock since April last year. I had a TDV8 Range Rover before it. My commute is 5 miles but I live on top of a Welsh mountain so I only use 2 miles worth of battery one way but 8 the other. I do approx 200 miles/wk which used to cost me...

    Charge timer issue

Hi. My car charges fine if I just plug it in but I want to try partial charging to save the battery a little. I only need half a charge a day on workdays. However as soon as I've set the timer it will not charge and the charge light flashes on the dash and the charger. This happens even on a day...
