Part Wanted Space saver wheel wanted in the UK

Yes of course it can only detect a wheel with a sensor fitted and the spacesaver doesnt have one. I did read the system can recognise 5 wheel sensors, and it can also have a separate set of winter tyres. As well as pressure the sensors also transmit tyre temperature, this can be read with the...

Part Wanted Space saver wheel wanted in the UK

I have used one, its fine, no alerts or problems. The reason full size wheels were dropped was because the EU Emissions Legislation forced weight saving. In desperation to hit weight thresholds (for Tax incentives) we even have smaller capacity screen wash bottles. If your tyre picks up a...

Remote Control App - Bewildering Error Messages

Thanks, it would not have occurred to me to go into the main screen. I'll have ago. I have my phone connected via USB for the Google stuff, I thought the WiFi was purely to create an AP for the App. No one else uses the cars so its a mystery why something has changed. The App is flakey.

Remote Control App - Bewildering Error Messages

This App (Android) must be the worst I have ever come across ! Can I suggest the Forum has a specific section just for App related issues, so they are easier to find. My app did work OK, apart from going around in numerous circles to connect to the car, once connected it did work. Now it...

Blue-Green fluid leaking from metal pipe - not engine coolant

I'll try and find them. I think others have repaired it by cutting out the aluminium pipe and fitting lengths of flexible rubber hose, you would need the skid plate to hold these up. I am on my second Outlander and the first job I did was to make another skid for it.

Blue-Green fluid leaking from metal pipe - not engine coolant

I did a post on this issue: https://www.myoutlanderphev.com/threads/damaged-pipes-under-chassis.4535/post-58029 I made a skid plate to protect the pipes, there are uploaded pictures, but they seem corrupted. If you cant see them, I'll see if I can find them and upload them again. They are just...

    Damaged pipes under chassis

I was surprised how vulnerable these pipes were on my 2017 MY and I did a search to see if anyone had had any problems, clearly you have ! These two pipes are actually part of the Heater system, nothing to do with Motor or Battery Cooling. They take the same coolant that is in the engine and...

New head unit without losing functionality

Did you manage to change the head unit to one with Android/Carplay ? I have the older Head unit that has a CD player and Navigation. I prefer to use TomTom and Google Maps. The main issue in any change is keeping all the Hybrid and Camera related display screens. Has anyone actually taken a...

As the title - is there a UK Forum ? Given the large number of cars sold in the UK market it would be useful.
