    Heating not working

Similar issues with mine, again. I have the 2.4 late 2018 model. I have had this problem before and the dealer in the UK flushed and cleaned the system. They wanted several hundred pounds until I argued it was still under warranty. Now I am out of warranty and the issue has started again...

    2019 2.4 heater fail

Thanks littlescrote. I rang the mitsubishi garage (jct600) to book the car in under warranty. I was informed on the phone that the heater failure is not a warranty item! Obviously we are going to have issues. After reading other issues and watching a few videos I am thinking the thermostat...

    2019 2.4 heater fail

Nobody had this before? Its a strange one. Checked the coolant, all ok. No heat from either the electric pre heat using the app or running the engine in charge or save mode. Just blows cold air no matter what....

Burning rubber smell from rear or Vehicle when in charge setting.

Really? Mine ALWAYS smells of burning rubber when driven in charge mode, always has. I am pretty sure its not rubber from the tyre hitting the exhaust, we are not driving F1 cars. It must be something else.

    2019 2.4 heater fail

Hi all, I have a 2019 2.4 and the heater failed this morning, just blowing cold air no matter what setting I try. It was in for service December and when it came back I could hear a slight noise from the heater fan which was not there before. 2 months later, only blowing cold air and I don't...

    electric v petrol

Yep, its all dependant on the possibility of a cap on electricity for me now. If not I may as well forget plugging it in. I live in a hilly area and it chomps through the electric charge so I never get a good return. Never thought I would be better filling with petrol than plugging in when I...

    electric v petrol

So my 2019 2.4 Phev has a 13.8kw battery. My electricity is going up to 51.33p per unit as of 1st October EDF (not including the standing charge). Unleaded is around £7.50 gallon. Are my sums correct that It will now cost over £7 to put a full charge in for a realistic 25 miles? Are we now...

    Towing a caravan

I can't say I have ever seen an orange engine light on my dash and mine is exactly the same as yours? I would have thought that meant you had an issue? I don't think I would tow in charge mode either as you are asking the engine for all its got all the time? Just my thoughts, lets see what...

    Cycle carrier on the boot/trunk

Any cheaper links for towball fitment? I would need to use plug in wiring too to avoid losing the warranty on the company car.

    Cycle carrier on the boot/trunk

I hear what you are saying and agree. Only issue with that being my outlanders a company car and will be going back in 18 months or so. Looking at the towball and fitting its around £600, obviously a dead loss when the car goes back. I am hesitant re the saris bones ex though.

    Cycle carrier on the boot/trunk

I picked the new bike up saturday and had to remove the front wheel to get it in the car to bring it home. I need to get on with a bike carrier now, I am still undecided about the Saris bones 2 though. If I went for the towball option I would probably be looking at £750 ish? £500 for a towball...

    Cycle carrier on the boot/trunk

I am looking at purchasing a 25kg Ebike and was looking at the saris bones 2. I emailed saris to ask if it would be ok to use it for my ebike at 25kg (21kg if i remove the battery) and she replied with a no. I don't know why this would be as the 2 bike rack is capable of carrying 70lbs (32kg)...

    Parking Sensors

If it helps, I purchased my mitsy from a main dealer at 6 months old with the first service being carried out by Halfords! Since then it has been in the main dealers for warranty work with no issues.

need new seat belts : (

Looks like I have found a company that may be able to replace the webbing on the seat belts. They are not 100% certain as some are not possible due to the way they are manufactured but its worth a try. Has anyone ever removed the rear belts? Any advice, tips etc? Is there any electrical...

    Towing limit

Hi All, Just been snooping around looking at caravans. Why is the PHEV limit so low at 1500kg for this size and weight of vehicle? I was hoping to get a large twin axle to site seasonally but its looking out of the question now due to the towing capacity...

    TIP, TRICKS and MODIFICATIONS

Is there any way to drop the windows via the key as per many fords? Miss that on my mondeo. Was nice to be able to drop them all before getting into the vehicle on hot days.

Low 12v Battery on New Car

I have a 19 plate and had to call breakdown out as it would not start one morning, used daily pretty much. He finally said the 12v battery was the issue, charged it up and it started. I told him I was not convinced that would be the end of it as it had to be flat for a reason. 4 months later...

Hi All, 2019 phev. They TPS indicator lit last week so I checked the tyre pressures and the rear offside was down to 15psi. I inflated back to 35psi. The TPS remained lit on the dash so I entered the settings mode. I held the button down on the reset icon several times but the warning...
