For local driving I mainly use the EV mode and charge 3 or 4 times a week. On road trips I switch between charge and save so I can drive EV thru the cities along the way. I managed to get around 30 mpg on two major road trips last year.

I think the 23 has the pressurized fuel tank. When you unlock the gas cap it shows a message to wait before fueling.

I totally agree that the DC charge port on the Outlander PHEV doesn’t make much sense! I have only tried it one time since we got the car three months ago. I don’t expect to use it all on my upcoming 3,000 mile road trip!!!
