Factory Outlander PHEV 2.0 air filter element half blanked off?

$8 for 3 filters seems way to cheap. Amazon Canada has 2 listed but $30 is the least expensive. $54 for the netter one.

    Type 1 Charging Cable

The level 1 and level 2 charging uses the same plug. its only level 3 that's different. In Canada you can not use your own cable at a public site.

    Type 1 Charging Cable

I guess I'm confused about why you need a cable for a public site. In Canada all public sites have cables. You can choose level 2 or level 3, if your car is set up for that. BUT...Public sites are so expensive its better to use gas until you get home.

Bought a 2017 PHEV but has no charging leads

I'm in Canada and I bought mine on Amazon. its a 220v 16 amp charger. The car came with a 110 V charger that was switchable from 8amp to 12 amp. You don't need one for public chargers, at least in Canada. All the public charger sites have cables. I suggest NOT going to the public sites since...

How To Charge At A Charging Station

That single plug will let you charge on Level 1 or 2 at public stations. I use a 16 amp 220v charging station at home.

    Accuracy Of Digital Battery Display

I have a 2019 which has a similar battery. The battery show on the dashboard is just an estimate of how far you can go. I live in a area about 400 vertical FT above town. When I leave for shopping I actually gain Km on the indicator even though I have driven 6 km. Coming home car shows 10 km...

    Confused about petrol consumption

before you purchase a 2015 you should be aware that; ev range fully charged will be around 30KM the ICE has no transmission like a regular car. It is hooked directly to the front wheels in what would be top gear. If you are driving around town at less than 60kph the two electric motors will be...

    Confused about petrol consumption

Your highway trip will be mostly on gas the entire way. I make that trip every week to golf in my 2019. I use between 7.5 and 8.5 L for 100 KM. I guess it depends what your fuel price is. I pay $1.75/Lt so just over $13CDN.

    Coasting ReGens

I believe that's not an accurate statement. Try driving, on the flat, in B5 with your foot on the accelerator, switch to B0 and see how your car jumps forward. Much less accelerator needed to maintain whatever speed you were going.

    Coasting ReGens

It may be a one petal driving experience but I guess you have to gage if the drag in B5 holding the car back is generating any more power than the extra force needed from the battery to get the car moving. I suspect its not and I often drive in B0 when I'm on a flat where regen in nil. Try it...

    A Running Costs Summary

I'm new to this forum but have had my 2019 OutlanderPHEV for a few years. I keep track of costs with a spread sheet, I don't use the data from the cars computer. I always fill up with gas and record the odometer reading. My spread sheet records date, OD reading, liters pumped and cost. It then...
