Charging at a campsite in the UK

My husband who is an electrician, installed an external socket on our 2011 Swift van. We plug in overnight and charge up FOC! Makes up for the lower mpg getting to the site with the van behind. Never yet had a problem with tripping the electrics.

    Soft "bong" noise

    Soft "bong" noise

Not sure if I am going mad, but every so often I hear a soft "bong" noise as I am driving along, similar to the seatbelt undo/fasten noise on an aircraft. Does anyone have any idea what it could be please? Thanks in advance!
