Yesterday while driving, our Outlander PHEV 2013 started beeping like this. It stopped for a while but then in the evening it started again.
Went on all night too.
The problem was to be found in the 13 pin socket for the trailer, that was filled with water.
So i disassembled it, went ham with a blowdryer. All good now.
Be careful, I was a bit overambitious, the metal pins became so hot they started melting the plastic. It was a challenge to assemble the socket again, I ended up using cocktail sticks to guide the pins back in the right slot again.
