We had a saris bones 3 for years, fitted every car and was easy to fit and nice and sturcy

Same happened to me, the issue was that the socket wasn't a great fit (tried a few cables) ended up squeezing the usb cable out of shape a little (bit it) so it was a snuggle fit and its been fine since then.

if there is an ability to change a setting in the car could they just add that as a simple toggle or switch in the settings menu rather than have to shut the door, turn it on, lock the door 5 times, put the headlights on, recite your children's names backwards, tap out ' Mitsubishi motors' in Morse ...

I will certainly be adjusting my schedules to arrive at a full charge nearer to the time I use the vehicle though.

What difference does it make when the charge cycle finishes?

Maybe even just an outdoor socket that has a timer integrated may be useful as you're adding it a fresh.

What benefit would a timer be? The charger works off the app timer right?
