Re: Wifi Password - Remote control app

I think they will use the computer in the car to get the password from the 'remote module' which is in the car.

You may be able to do this yourself if you can find the key combination to show the dealer options in your car's computer.

Re: WiFi reset procedure (Step by Step)

I think that two beeps means that you already have two devices paired and therefore cannot add any more.

(On my model anyway)

If you haven't paired any devices of your own, you'd have to follow the reset procedure, which is the version with the hazard lights turned on (from memory so don't quote me)

Re: Charging indicator light.

The first thing to check is to see if there are any charging timers set. The second thing is to make sure that the plug was all the way in to the car, typically you'd hear a click when it is all the way in. Re: Mystery Switch

I have a different model to you, but I have a switch that operates the interior light.

It has three positions: Off, On and Auto.

Re: Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM)

Yes. When I first bought mine, it was triggering every time someone turned left in front of me. It turned out that it was in 'Country mode'. Once I switched it to city mode, it stopped giving me false positives. It also gave me a bit of a fright when a dust devil crossed the road and was dense enoug...

Re: Electric range of 2017 Outlander PHEV

The 'guessometer' tries to predict the range you will achieve depending on the ambient temperature, the way the car was most recently driven, and the accessories that are currently drawing power. If it is currently winter, you're running the heater (and air-conditioner to stop the windows from foggi...

Re: Electric only range

No, not a battery heating cycle.

If someone has set heating timers up, to heat the car, this will use up your battery.
