Re: 12v battery death

Yes, the wifi module is a constant drain on the 12v battery which means that the battery needs to be recharged daily, even though the wifi module turns off after three days of no use. Cars that don't have the wifi module don't have this continuous drain on the battery, unless something has failed, o...

Re: Windscreen washer nozzle

Just in case you haven't tried this...

I cleaned the nozzles with a pin and switched to always using rainwater for my washers.

(Very hard mains water where I live)

Re: Where is my interior fuse box?

I'm guessing that no-one has replied because you haven't told us which car you have? The manual for mine seems to be quite clear. If you have a left-hand-drive vehicle, the fuses are behind the plastic panel next to the steering wheel. If you have a right-hand-drive vehicle, the fuses are behind the...

Re: Removing personal data

The previous owner of my car forgot to do that. :D From the MMCS manual for my car: To delete a frequently Used Location: 1. Press the NAV|MENU key 2. Touch [Personal]...

Re: Does EV range reduce/increase with deg and reset?

Sadly the answer depends on the number of charges, and particularly the number of fast charges. Mine has never been on a fast charger, since I've owned it, and I'm not seeing any meaningful decrease in range. Range anxiety isn't really a thing for a PHEV, because you always have the petrol engine to...

Re: Advice for a long drive

Also the cruise control if you're using it.

I've noticed that mine is much more aggressive on the pedals than me, and results in a less smooth ride.

Re: B0 to B5

Unless you're on a long descent, you probably won't notice much difference.

I mainly notice the total lack of wear on the brake shoes.
