Re: Battery Charge/Save Buttons

I'll add my two cents here... And I realize all of what I say is anecdotal. I've also not been convinced that parallel is more economical than series, but I may be coming around. I use a scan guage on long trips which gives me an instantaneous mpg, and rpms... Two things that Mitsubishi doesn't give...

Re: Increasing/Upgrading - Higher Battery Capacity

Would that be the same salesman who told me that I could charge the battery in my key fob by putting it in the slot?  ;) I really think that most of them don't have a clue... It would be the same salesman that told me the Phone app would work while my train was 10 or 15 minutes from my ...

Question though is 13.8 kWh compatible without any CAN tweaks?
From what year car was this taken?

Re: Increasing/Upgrading - Higher Battery Capacity

Well i said rumour, because it was told to me by my Mitsubishi salesman... Who is not the most technologically capable person I've ever met.

It might be true. It might be false. I was hoping someone had more than just anecdotal statements.

Re: Increasing/Upgrading - Higher Battery Capacity

I heard a rumour that the recent upgrade from 12 to 13.2 was not really a battery hardware change. They just altered the software to allow you to use a bit more.

Re: Micro Battery Jump Starter?

Probably cheaper and better to just replace it after 7 years
Even if you manage to charge it to start the car, it will probably go flat in a few days anyway. It will go flat on you on the first or second morning after an overnight cold snap.

I too have a 2020 in USA, and I also feel the suspension is quite stiff. I feel every bump.

Re: Let's stop ICEheat, when cold...

Now getting cold starts when simply crossing from one side of a parking lot to another in 54° ambient temperatures. Took PHEV into the service department they installed three updates and took care of the seatbelt recall. The next morning the vehicle did not start at 38 but later that day it was bac...

Re: What fuel consumption can I expect on 50mile run on motorway?

I think on a 50 Mile run of varied driving, not exceeding 60 mph, you could expect At least 50 mpg. Probably less if you use heat. You might get 50 with limited AC.

On a 50 Mile run, I would not bother with Save or Charge.

Re: Bluetooth and Android auto

Ok, here is a related question that I have not figured out yet.... If I am connected to android auto, and using Waze on my phone as GPS, if I turn on the radio, i can no longer hear directions from Waze. Shouldn't I be able to hear both?
