Re: Electric only range

8 real miles is a very low performance, regardless of the circumstances. What year, what mileage? I would advise you to get a battery condition report from your dealer. Have them have a look at the brakes as well.

I don't understand why you find it slow to pull away - in EV mode (like all electric cars) it can beat any petrol vehicle for initial acceleration 8-)
I can understand - it is that hesitation before the ICE comes in in parallel hybrid.

Re: New user query: how to interpret battery statistics output

That is good for a car of this age, just leave it as it is and drive it like you do. Treat the distance prediction for what it is: just a guess by the car based on your driving before.

Re: Tyres - winter and summer - or not. A review.

I had Crosscimates fitted last year and could not be happier. The car. feels softer without losing stability too.

Re: Burning smell, loss if battery, return car?

Should the problem actually be the battery - although your problem is a first on this forum- there is an eight-year guaranty on it. I. hope that you got Mitsubishi's assurance in writing. The advice of your dealer sounds rather clueless, they could easily have offered a battery smoothing. Andy's adv...

Re: Advice on changing suspension

My dogs don't complain, they sleep whilst I'm driving - Check your tyre pressures. In fact I find the car quite smooth and comfortable. Getting thrown about in corners is hardly to be blamed on the suspension - that is driving style. I’m sure a specialist could modify the suspension, but it would im...

Re: Do not be scared of using that charge button.

Actually, by mountain driving I did not mean blasting up motorways through the mountains @ 90 mph. I mean long, steep roads with hairpins which will make you happy to average 20 mph, like for instance the Passo di Stelvio, or the Col de Iseran. https://eropenerover.nl/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Stel...

Re: ICE Startup Parameters In Cold Weather?

I don't insist it is what it is. Actually under - 5C I will start the ICE by myself anyway but don't see the point of ICE kicking in halfway my trip just to be ready when I turn off the vehicle. Seems there isn't any problem to run on EV mode only for few miles since the ICE don't start immediately...
