Re: MPG/ l/100km on long journey using charge button

My experience it will drop by 4 mpg. Remember it can only charge 80% ie upto 18miles of EV. Only useful if you are going to enter city and want to use EV only.

Re: Charging

Hi franksie, it is entirely my opinion, I see no point in installing a wall charger for a PHEV , This is my second Outi .2016 then 2019 1. 2.4 lit outi is a much better car. 2. Destination charging is the key. You charge at home or at work. But to keep the engine healthy you must run it as well. 3. ...

Not a technical person , but don't you get fuel cleaner additives? Or use one full tank of Shell super fuel which contain additives to clean?

Re: Luscombes or Batchelors Yorkshire dealers

I've used Luscombe's in Leeds for the past 2 years. Robin Luscombe is quite hands-on and they seems to be trying quite hard. You will quite often see him posting on FB as well. I'd recommend them. No never , I have had two Outi 4H since 2016. Initially while charging on the run some burning smell comes , but it disappears after a month after buying a new car.

Re: forgive an ignorant quesion

Unfair to compare Prius. Outy is a 4x4. Driving 30-40 miles with ICE running for say 5-7 miles you'd get 90-100 mpg (19 model), I don't think prius can do that much.
